The box-type filter press is a common solid-liquid separation equipment, which is widely used in chemical, environmental protection, food, pharmaceutical and mining fields. It achieves solid-liquid separation by filtering and separating solid materials from liquid materials.

The box-type filter press is composed of filter plate, filter frame and filtration system. The filter plate and frame are arranged alternately to form a filter chamber, in which the liquid material is filtered, while the solid material remains on the filter plate to form a filter cake. In the process of filter press, the material slurry is first transported to the filter chamber through the feeding system, and then a certain pressure is applied to force the slurry through the filter cloth, and the solid material is deposited on the filter cloth to form the filter cake, while the clean liquid flows out through the filter cloth.
